Welcome to Crosswynd Kennels......
This is the website of Crosswynd's Kennels, established in 1987. My name is Stacy Buchanan and I breed and show Alaskan Malamutes. While some of my dogs are show dogs, some are pets, but they are all treated as members of the family. I am not considered a large kennel but I have big expectations when it comes to my dogs. Prior to breeding dogs are checked for genetic health disorders such as hips, eyes and ChD clearances. Stud dogs are selected based on their qualities and temperament.
I have owned Alaskan
Malamutes since 1985, and I am a member of the Alaskan Malamute Club of
America. I also actively participate in helping rescue
homeless malamutes. There are a lot of
beautiful sweet tempered malamutes that are in this situation due to divorces, owner
job changes, and owner health issues to name a few. Check out the

One of my favorite hobbies is photography. I have photo
albums at the bottom of this page that you can browse through.
There are lots of pictures of dogs, friends and family, as well as pictures from my trip to
Hopi Point Kennels, in Kranj, Slovenia.
