The Masters Forge, Newark	The Masters Forge (Chuck Stone's Shop) in Newark, stoneplace.org, 817/489-3580 or 817/489-KIDS, mastersforge@prodigy.net. Newark is located approximately 20 miles northwest of Ft Worth. From the intersection of I35W and Loop 820 North/West take I35W towards Denton, then take 287 towards Decatur, in about 5 miles take Hwy 718 to Newark (there is a Texaco at the stop sign, go West on Hwy 718), in about 5-6 miles there will be a Fina station and a four-waystop sign, continue west on Hwy 718 for another couple of miles. Look for the Newark Feed Store on the right, then take the next left (Co.Rd. 4850) go overthe tracks and veer to the right, in about 1/4 mile turn left to The Masters Forge.

Grapevine Heritage Center	Grapevine 701 S. Main, Grapevine, TX, (817) 329-5297. The shop is on the north side of the Tarantula Train Station, just south of downtown Grapevine.

Mansfield	115 Depot Street in old downtown Mansfield (Next to Mansfield Feed Store) Special Feature: one-of-a-kind "smithing pit" with observation area above that will accommodate 30 spectators. Visitors always welcome!

Dallas Metro

Southern Methodist University (SMU)	Dallas SMU is in loacted near Central Expressway/Hwy.75 on Hillcrest between Daniel and Mockingbird, (214) 768-2000. Meeting building is the Owen Art Center, Art Studio Dept.

Dallas Heritage Village (Formerly Old City Park)	Dallas Dallas Heritage Village is located just south of downtown Dallas near I-30, at 1717 Gano, (214) 451-5151. From the west, exit I-30 at Downtown/Central, go south one block on Harwood to Gano. From the east, exit I-30 at Ervay, go south one block on St. Paul to Gano. The blacksmith shop is near the northwest side of the park.

Chestnut Square	McKinney Directions to Chestnut Square: from Central Expressway/Hwy 75, travel east approximately 2 miles on W. Virginia/W. Louisiana St. to Hwy 5 (S. McDonald St.). Turn south on Hwy 5 about three blocks and turn right to Anthony Street. Chestnut Square located at the intersection of Anthony Street and on the west side of Hwy 5. Parking is available just north of Chestnut Square at the Collin County Courthouse.
A. W. Perry Homestead	Carrollton 1509 N. Perry, Carrollton, TX (972) 446-0442. From I-35, exit at Beltline, travel east approximately 1 mile. Turn left, north on Perry about 1 1/2 blocks to the Museum.

Heritage Park	Edgewood North Houston & Elm (MAP) P.O. Box 765, Edgewood, TX 75117, 903-896-1940. Edgewood is located about 60 miles east of Dallas, 10 miles north of Canton on Hwy 80.

Collin County Farm Museum	McKinney The Collin County Farm Museum is located near McKinney, (972) 562-6111, Metro (214) 562-1266. From McKinney, take Hwy. 380 west to the CCFM sign on F.M. 1461. Turn north on 1461 to R.D. 166 to the Museum.

Sid Richardson Scout Ranch	West of Bridgeport Sid Richardson Scout Ranch is the location of the annual NTBA Hammerfest. Bridgeport is located about 35 miles northwest of Fort Worth and west of Decatur on Hwy. 380. To get to the Sid Richardson Scout Ranch from Bridgeport, travel west on Hwy 114 for 8.2 miles, look for a Boy Scout Ranch sign and turn north. Travel approximately 9.2 miles to the Lakeside Lodge.
