JOB SPECIFICATIONS
The knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties of this

education and experience or the equivalent.
Minimum Requirements
Education/License:
- Bachelors degree in Occupational Health or Safety discipline required
with Masters in human factors or ergonomics related qualification a plus
Experience:
- 8 years experience in human factors/ ergonomics
Competencies/Skills:
- Ergonomics/ Human Factors
- Broad safety experience
- Dynamic self starter, strong implementation skills, achiever
- Excellent team work skills with a wide range of people
- Excellent presentation skills and training capability
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral, at all levels
Education/Licenses:
Member of professional institute of ergonomists

Job Summary
SUMMARY: Provide technical expertise
for the creation, implementation
and management of an ergonomics program at company site
FUNCTIONS (Responsibilities: Duties/
Accountabilities*)
1. Implement an ergonomics design strategy which ensures that ergonomic
principles are integrated into new project, equipment and systems design
including a catalogue of ergonomically designed equipment 2. Carry out
proactive ergonomic assessments of operational and laboratory
activities, document them and follow up on corrective actions 3. Develop
practical solutions to ergonomic problems to reduce work task risk 4.
Develop content of ergonomic training programs to educate management,
engineering and employees to ensure integration of ergo principles into
all activities 5. Integrate ergonomics into other safety programs
