President's Letter

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to 2002!  Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season!  We had a big turnout at the TCA Christmas Party last month.  A wide assortment of fish and fish stuff was brought for the annual fish gift swap.  As usual, some members (I won’t name names) just couldn’t resist “stealing” other members’ fish as many times as possible!  It was a great party, and great to see so many fish friends!

The January meeting was Saturday, January 19th, at my house in Keller.  We had election of officers and board of trustees.  Several new folks were elected to the board of trustees.  David Andrews was elected treasurer.  Caroline Estes from Amazonia in Austin spoke about judging and showing fish--great information for those folks interested in showing fish at the FOTAS convention in April.  She even got in a plug for Club Snail!
