Mission StatementThe mission of AddMS is to develop our new patented technology for highly sensitive low cost portable mass detectors into new products. The Inventor
Dr. Robert Evrard is a renowned ion physicist and has been working in the
scientific instrumentation industry for over 25 years. He developed mass
spectrometers for Alcatel, Nermag, Edwards ... His field of specialization is
sample ionization and detection. The AddMS instrument is his latest invention.
This invention is protecting by several patents in USA and Europe. The US patent
number for the MS is : 6,717,140 (More are pending)

Applications
Our products seek to expand the conventional markets and
open new markets within various industries. We can design products that will
explore new applications that here to date have been unapproachable due to the
high cost of existing instrumentation. Our products could be integrated into
existing technology or developed on new independent platforms. Our detectors and
sensors can be used for insitu process monitoring, leak detection, environmental
monitoring and food industry applications.
The portable mass detector can be used for the quantization of very low
concentrations of light gases, in particular Methane and Helium. Our system
delivers an important improvement in sensitivity in comparison with the existing
devices. Our product allows for the safe transport and uses of combustible
gases.
A modified construction of the instrument can be used as a powerful source for
collimated and pre-selected ion beams, allowing It to feed other types of mass
spectrometers and therefore increase their sensitivity.
