KRAJNC LEARNING THE OLD METHOD OF FORGING AND SMITHING IRON BY HAND

His teacher Wolfgang Auer and wife Anna, who also took care of the culinary demands of the two, quickly introduced Anton to the art and secrets of smithing.

Krajnc made a full size drawing on paper from his design for the chapel door. Each forged bit and piece was, after cooling, of course, put on top to check for accuracy.
