Trophy Room

I've listed scores for all of these bucks . . . please don't get the impression that I'm obsessed with scores as a measure of trophy quality - each trophy is unique in its own right, and I value all of my trophies on their own merits.  That said, I'm simply one of those people that can't look at a deer head without wanting to put a tape measure to it - I simply enjoy measuring antlers.

This is my 146 7/8 gross (overall inches) 11 point from Coleman County, 2001.  He nets 133 2/8 typical and made the Texas Big Game Awards program "book" for 2001-2002 season (that's the awards plaque at bottom left).
On the left is my 113 2/8 gross (overall inches) 9 point from Coleman County, 2001.  He nets 105 2/8 typical.

On the right is my 118 5/8 gross 8 point from Bannister WMA in East Texas (1996).  He nets 114 2/8.

This is my 117 1/8 gross 8 point from Bannister WMA in 1997.  He nets 113 0/8.
Here are my Coleman bucks on the wall together.
On the left is Marla's 2002 Crockett County buck.  He grosses 90 0/8 and nets 86 3/8.  I did the plaque mount myself (using a plaque from an old store-bought kit). Below is the cleaned skull and tanned hide from my 2002 (Feb) Corsican Ram from Val Verde County.  Those are 22 & 23" horns and 7 1/2" bases.

Next are the cleaned skulls of the two rams I shot in 2003 (one in March, one in November).  I cleaned and prepared these skulls myself . . . the one on the left was shot in November and has 23" and 22" horns with 8 2/8" bases.  The one on the right has 22 6/8" and 23 6/8" horns with 7 4/8" bases.
