Here you will find frequencies, radio news, and other useful information regarding
the HF, VHF, and UHF radio spectrum.
I hope to bring you the latest active frequencies used by our military during times of
conflict, military actions, and war.
Our goal is to bring useful and entertaining information which can be enjoyed by both the
beginners and experts in this hobby.
Now I'll tell you a bit about myself and the equipment I use. I've been in the radio
hobby since 1976 and love every minute of it. Currently my equipment contains the following:
HF - Icom R71A (my baby!), DX-160 (my first child), TS-520; VHF/UHF - PRO-26,
PRO-30, PRO-2006, PRO-2035; Antennas - 20 Meter Dipole, 40 Meter Dipole, MFJ-9010 Active Antenna
(I actually love it too!), Discone.
I've had my pilots license since 1985 and love listening to both HF and VHF/UHF aviation bands.
These bands provide lots of entertainment. Maritime freqs provide a lot of fun for me as well
since my favorite place is next to the shore. Nearly all my weekends are spent at our
beach house in Ocean City, MD fishing.
On this site you find current scanner frequencies for Lancaster County Pa, Berks County Pa,
Virginia Beach area, and Ocean City Md. As I spend considerable time in these areas, I usually
have current freqs for these.
And finally I live in Lancaster, PA which always provides scanning action as there are
now shootings nearly every night!
