Operation Allied Force - Kosovo War - King Klintons Little Playground

NOTE:
Now that the war is over and the clean up is in progress I've decided to clean up my list. Over the past 3 months of the war, many many people have sent me frequencies, loggings, and other information regarding the monitoring of the war. Now that I have a a spare minute I thought I would clean up the list. Now that it appears that the war is over, please don't discount these frequencies as becoming in-active. From from the truth. Most of the frequencies are used my the Military for day-to-day operations and will be active for many years. Plus, you know the way our government works, I'm sure there will be much activity in Kosovo for many years to come.

Note: Frequency 11.300 MHz was originally marked in my first list as being a HOT FREQUENCY!. I've taken a lot of heat over that statement. Here's why. The primary use of 11.300 is for International Air Traffic Control and not military operations. Now here's why I called it a hot frequency. On March 27th, 1999 I was listening to 11.300 MHz, also reader of our website Enea Colzi of Italy was listening to the same frequency. At the same time we both heard both American and Serbian voices which sounded very excited. Signals were weak, however it did sound as if the english transmissions were saying something about shots and/or fire. At the same time these transmissions were heard, an F117 Stealth Figher was shot down by a Serbian Missle. Many people wrote me saying, Hay you dummy don't you know that is an Air Traffic Control Freq and military wouldn't use it!. I must have received over 100 emails saying that. Well people, all I did was report what I heard and on what frequency I heard it. And I'm not the only person who had monitored this activity! Also, I've been a Pilot for nearly 14 years, and here in the U.S. military quite often use civilian aircraft frequencies.

RadiosOnLine was the first online frequency source to report this frequency as being a hot freq, I've now seen a few other websites who have copied my words and labeled 11.300 as a HOT FREQUENCY. I'm glad to see other webmasters are ready RadiosOnLine, however I truly wish they would have given the source credit and/or a link.....
