A musical comedy based on a Stephen King short story, Andrew Newman's The Man Who Loved Flowers turns the frighteningly
sick and twisted tale from the Night Shift collection into a hilariously sick
and twisted slice of Americana. Featuring Van Morrison's hit single, "Brown
Eyed Girl," the phirst Phunny Pharm Philm premiered at Syracuse University's Film Apocalypse
1996. The Man Who Loved Flowers won awards for Best Actor,
Seamus Mulholland, at the 1997 Syracuse University N.A.T.A.S. Emmy Awards and
Best Comedy/Musical at the 1997 Syracuse University Film Awards (the "Owens").
