This scene is being repeated all across the nation: At the University of Texas at Dallas, actually located in a suburb in a remote corner of the North Texas Metroplex, students gathered for a lunchtime rally on November 20. Professors and student activists explained the likely future effects of the current war drive.

They explained that America’s struggling economy is being damaged even further, that our precious freedoms are being sacrificed on war’s altar, that relations with all the world’s community are being irreparably damaged, and that the elusive goal of domestic “safety” is moving beyond reach. They explained the reeking role of corporate media and news sources in mis-reporting the facts and encouraging the coming wars. They explained that the invasion and ongoing occupation of Afghanistan had netted no gains for ordinary Americans. They explained that the entire package of imperialistic war plans benefited only oil companies and other greedy corporations at the complete expense of ordinary Americans and the rest of the world.......  Flyer,  Photo,  program details, Slogans
