SLC would like to invite all the students, faculty members, and activists to help us in promoting social justice issues on the campus. We like to hear your ideas and create an open discussion beyond the traditional schooling. This is an excellent opportunity to educate yourself, learn, and teach others. By participating in the Student-Labor Coalition activities, together, we have a chance to unify our voices and express our opinions about issues important to all the students, faculty, workers, and the community.

Without an active participation by the students no change can be achieved and our rights will always be ignored. You can assist us by participating in our meetings and assisting us in one or more of the following areas:

• The April Public Forum,
• Investigative projects about the working condition and salaries of campus workers including
• custodians,
• graduate students such as TAs and RAs,
• faculty members and staff,
• university contract workers,
• part time student workers on the campus, and etc.
• Researching on issues which mater to students:
• the impact of centralized testing,
• health insurance for foreign students,
• tuition, and etc.
• Investigating the university's code of contact:
• Does the university pay the living wage to its workers,
• Are we using the clothing made in sweatshops?
• Web page construction and maintenance
• Student discussion groups
• Informing SLC of community event
