THE OLD TRUCK HOME

I have been trying to find a name for this web page for a while now. It came to me the other day the old folk's have a place to go when they older. Where they can be looked after and keep up. They are there in all shapes forms and conditions. Kind of like the old trucks we see. I hope to take the best of care to the ones entrusted to me here no mater what condition they are in for they have all earned it. So look around and see what you can find. You never know what I'll run across next if there's something you would like to see ask me I maybe able to help you find it.

Ever since I can remember I have been fascinated with Trucks BIG Tractor-Trailer trucks. The bigger, the better. I can remember setting during elementary school and doodling trucks like the old Mack B-61's and the old folding fender Dodges. That has been several years and a lot more miles ago than I care to admit to. But I still love the old trucks my doodling has changed form pencil and paper to camera's (old ones also) and computers and I hope to give you a sample of what I see in the old trucks. Some of it is basically the art of the picture some the history of the machine and then the admiration and the respect of the people that lived through all of the changes that brought us to the fine equipment that you see today.

Here I am listing some examples that reflect of these feelings

Here are some picture essays that I have put together from pictures I have taken. These pages have a lot of pictures in them and will be slow loading.

Greensboro ATHS show 1997

THE VIDEO I TOOK AT THE SHOW
I was able to attend the 1997 ATHS convention and Truck Show. In 1997 it was held at the Volvo Research Facility, in Greensboro N.C.. I got there the Monday before, and I was able to see all of the trucks as they were either unloaded or driven into to the show area.

PICTURES FROM GREENSBORO
For every body that has wanted to have pictures that they could view on thier computers I have put toghther a CD from the pictures I took at Greensboro. I have put together a group of over 800 pictures on this CD for only $27.50. That's cheaper than the total cost of two rolls of 35mm 36 exp film.
