I took these pictures at the ATHS annual truck show in Greensboro N. C. in 1997. The Volvo Trucks North America, Inc. at their Greensboro facility hosted the truck show.

I was able to get to Greensboro monday morning about 9 am and help the ATHS Piedmont chapter with some of the preparations, and met the people as they brought their trucks in. This enabled me to get some pictures that even the people that got to the show on Friday did not get to see. Like the AB Mack that Daley & Wanzer brought in loaded with furniture, backed in a moving van. They took the AB Mack into town to deliver the load of furniture before the show. That sure was a treat to see the old truck actually working.

I want to thank the many people that worked along with me to make these pictures possible. The people coming in with their trucks were really cooperative. I can’t say enough about the people from the Piedmont Chapter, and the men from Daley & Wanzer they made the trip and standing in one place a whole lot easier.

The ATHS put together a book of pictures from this show if you have not purchased it you might want to consider it. They have put together a nice picture book as they do every year.

I have been ask if these were the same pictures that are in the book? NO they are not! I did take some that were simlar ro the ones that are in the book but I did not try to remake the book. I took a lot of pictures to show the diferent aspects of the trucks. Most of them I took two picture of and a lot of them I took more then two pictures of. I tryied to show the different things that you might find by walking around the trucks and not just one side of each of them.
