Victor Bernan's Little MACK Truck

This is Victor Bernan's little Mack truck. It is a 1939 ED MACK Serial # 1516. Mack built the ED's from 1938-1944, having built a total of 2686 of them in six years. They started with the serial Number of 1000 in 1938 making this one the 516th one made.

Victor found the ad for this one in the Boston paper in 1976. It was located in northern VT, just cab and chassis. He had it shipped back to Boston and has been working on it every sense.

I was able to meet Victor Bernan, Dana McDonough and the crew that they came with from the New England Chapter of the ATHS located in Massachusetts, at the show with they were some of the BEST men you could ever meet. I would like to thank them for every thing that they did to help me. I just wish I could have done more to help them.

One picture was taken from on top of a trailer setting next to the little truck and the other shows how simple the interiors of the vehicles were back then.

IF IT'S NOT A MACK COULD IT REALY BE A TRUCK?
