Portugal Trip 6/18-29/2002
Charles had meetings in Lisbon, so Betsy came along and we gave ourselves
a chance to vacation in a place we might not have ever picked ordinarily.
We stayed in Lisbon, saw the local sights and took side day trips.
We saw some amazing sights, didn't push ourselves too much, but were glad
to get back to American food. Lisbon had weather much like Southern
California (70's and 80's), but was nicely breezy (to blow the omnipresent
cigarette smoke away).
The following pages include a terse diary of sorts augmented by some
