Arthur Harvey Swartz, Sr.,
passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, August 28th, 2006.
He was born on October 19th, 1923 in Victoria, Texas to Mahon & Gus Carl Swartz.
Harvey was a decorated World War II Tech/Sgt veteran who served proudly in Italy
with the 723rd Bomb Squadron 450th Bomb Group. He leaves behind his most precious
assets, his wife of 59 years Helen H. Swartz; children Arthur H. Swartz,
Jr. and Paula Rose Santos & husband Joel; grandchildren Brandon M. Santos
& fiance Vanessa Meza, Kristina L. Valadez & husband Robert, Desiree Swartz,
and Twyna Wilson; great-grandchildren Dorien Valadez, Giovannie Valadez,
Ean Lee Santos, and Jeremy Albers; as well as many other relatives and friends.
Memorial Services with Military Honors rendered by the V.F.W. District #4
Ceremonial Detail will be held at 11:45 A.M. on Friday, September 1st, 2006,
at the
Houston National Cemetery.
