The Rt. Rev. David Marion-Davis died on March 9th, 2006 at the age of 81. He was an Archbishop and Bishop of the Anglican Catholic Church. Bishop David Marion-Davis spent his lifetime serving others as a Deacon, Priest, Vicar, Monsignor, Bishop, and Archbishop. He touched the lives of many with his faith, love, and dedication to his vocation. He was a friend to all and was non-judgmental in his counseling and advice to parishoners and friends.
Bishop Marion-Davis completed seminary, theology school, four doctorate programs, an held a Master's Degree from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from U.C.L.A.
Bishop Davis was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Mary Scott Marion-Davis. He is survived by his nephew Ralph Davis of Pearland, Texas; niece Susan Bowen Mc Intyre of Fort Worth, Texas; niece Sharon Hite of Houston, Texas; and a multitude of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A Celebration of the life of Bishop David Marion-Davis were held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday May 11th, 2006 at St. Martin's Episcopal Church located at 717 Sage Road in Houston, TX (at the corner of Sage and Woodway). Father John Bentley and Father John Graham officiated at the Eucharist followed by lunch in the Parish Hall.

Bishop Marion-Davis will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
