Eva Marie McBride age 79, of Houston, Texas passed away May 5th, 2006 at Southeast Memorial Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert David McBride and mother Ivy B. Fox.
Born in Thornton, Texas, Eva Marie was the second oldest of four children born to Ivy B. Fox and Robert J. Doughtie on December 10th, 1926. She married Robert David McBride on October 27th, 1961.
Eva Marie was a loving mother and grandmother and leaves many loving friends and family.
She is survived by her 3 sons: Richard Jody and wife Odessa, Stephen Jody and wife Pam, and Joseph Jody; 5 granddaughters: Ivy, Eva, Anita, Marie, and Shannon; 4 grandsons: Ricky, Bryan, James, and Joey; and 2 great-grandchildren: Alexis and Kyan. She also leaves her brother and sisters and their families: Madell & Paul Bohannon, Calvin Fox Doughtie & Rose, Bobbie Robertson and numerous nieces and nephews.
Eva Marie was interred at the Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas alongside her husband Robert in a private ceremony.
Eva Marie will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
