Gary Lynne Calaway, 47, passed away on Sunday, March 5th, 2006. He was born on June 18th, 1958 in Houston, Texas.
Gary marched to the tune of a different drummer and was one of a kind. He definitely tried to live life to the fullest and never met a stranger. He worked at TBS Trucking as an auto mechanic -- a trade that he truly loved. Gary held an Advanced Open Water scuba diving certification and loved taking trips to see what was out there. He also loved music and had a passion for drums. He had learned how to play the electric keyboard and was learning to play the guitar.
Gary was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Scott Cauley and Robin Lewis. He is survived by his mother (Mary) "Vi" of Houston, Texas; daughter Crystal Lynn of Houston, Texas; sister Tana & husband Jay of Willis, Texas; 2 step-brothers: Douglas & Thomas, both of Houston, Texas; nephew Cletus of Willis, Texas; 2 nieces: Marsha of Arkansas and Ashley of Tomball, Texas; as well as many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services with viewing immediately before was held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 10th,
2006, at Aldine
