God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be,
so He put His arms around you, and whispered, "Come to Me."
With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away,
and though we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, a precious soul at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best.
Ina "Meme" Faye Lockey,
60, passed away in Houston, Texas on Friday, January 6th, 2006.
She was born on August 13th, 1945 in Gorman, Texas to Addie Belle Kerby and Riley Ruben
Kirkendall.
Memorial Services were held on Tuesday, January 10th, 2006, at 11:00 A.M.
at Aldine Funeral
Chapel with Rev. Charles Akins officiating.
