81, passed away in Houston, Texas on January 21st, 2006.
Maria was born in Mexico on March 5th, 1924 to Alfonso Hernandez, Sr. and Teresa López.
Maria is survived by her husband of 55 years Felipe Olvera, Sr.;
9 children: Juan Olvera, Victor Olvera, Maria Elena Burciaga, Concepción Reyna,
Rosario Estrada, Jorge Olvera, Alicia Olvera, Rosa M. Olvera, and Rosalba Olvera; 9
brothers and sisters: Agustin López, Petra López, Juanita López, Carolina López,
Esther López, David Fonseca, Maria Elena Hernandez, and Francisco Fonseca; 25
grandchildren: Juan Olvera, Jr., Felipe Olvera, Rebecca Colon, Victor Olvera, Jr.,
Elvira Olvera, Ericka P. Olvera, Nidia Hernandez, Elizabeth Burciaga, Diana I.
Burciaga, Veronica V. Delprado, Yvette Olvera, Aaron M. Reyna, Miguel A. Estrada,
Alvaro Estrada, Renato Muñiz, Daniel Muñiz, Roberto Quijada, Jr., Alejandro
Quijada, Marco A. Quijada, Kassandra Quijada, Santiago Rivera, Emilio Contreras, Jr.,
Priscilla Olvera, Javier Calixto, and Angeles Olvera; 16 great-grandchildren:

Visitation was at Aldine Funeral
Chapel from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, January 23rd, 2006 and from 4:00 P.M.
to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 24th, 2006. Graveside Services were held on Wednesday,
January 25th, 2006 at 3:00 P.M. at
Brookside Memorial Park located at 13401 Eastex Freeway in
Houston, Texas.
Maria will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
