Dr. Robert H. Harrison, age 84, of Houston, Texas, died Saturday, July 29, 2006. He was born April 28, 1922 in Lockesburg, Arkansas.
He was a graduate of Lockesburg High School, the then Henderson State Teachers' College, and the University of Arkansas School of Medicine.
He practiced Family Medicine in Lewisville, Arkansas from 1948 until 1962; then, after a residency at UAMS, he practiced Psychiatry in Texarkana and in Little Rock.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Roy and Lucy Hull Harrison, and by his sister, Ruth Harrison Bales.
He is survived by a son, David H. Harrison and his wife Inez; by a daughter, Katherine Harrison and her husband Clyde Watkins; by a daughter, Jane Harrison Lowy and her husband David Lowy; by two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Plans for a Memorial Service in Houston, Texas are incomplete.
