Annie Imogene "Jean"Woodhead, age 93, died Sunday, June 10th, 2007. She was born May 1st, 1914 in Granger, Texas, but has lived in Houston for the past 52 years.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Roy A. Woodhead; both parents, William W. & Mary E. Moore; and 2 brothers: Buddy & Halsted Moore. She is survived by her daughter Valerie Killin & her husband Mike; her son Stanley Woodhead & his wife Carma, all of Houston; 2 grandchildren: Chris Neely & his wife Bernadette of Montgomery, Texas and Kim Martino & her husband Derrick of Sugar Land, Texas; 4 great-grandchildren: Lené, Kyle, Madelyn, and Jagger; a loving sister, Alice Mae Dyess of Grand Prairie, Texas; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 14th, 2007 at Aldine Funeral Chapel. Funeral Services were held in the VA Chapel at 12:00 P.M. on Friday, June 15th, 2007, at the Houston National Cemetery located at 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas, phone 281-447-8686.
Jean was a loving Mom, Grandma, "Nana", Great-Grandma, and Friend. She was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.
