"Mommy's Angel"

"You're resting in peace, you will truly be missed. You're a true Angel, "Mommy's Angel". 19 months ago when you were born you changed my life. Mama knows you are not in pain any more. So sad you had to go. Mama will see you soon my love. You changed the lives of everyone you came in contact with. You wrote some special history in the short time you were on earth. Now, my love, rest in peace."

Brianna was a special little girl. At 4 months she was diagnosed with a rare disease called Pompe. There've been many good times and many bad times. She was truly a fighter. The last 4 months she was fighting. She finally came home for 4 days, just to go back to the hospital. My Angel lost her fight to the flu. She had been fighting since October 2006 with Pompe disease. Now my angel may rest in peace. She was truly one of a kind.

Brianna is survived by her parents Stephanie Prothro and Walter Milburn; grandparents James & Brenda Prothro; uncle and aunt James & Karla Prothro; great-grandparents LaVerne Allison and Vernon & Sharon Clayton; many great-cousins, aunts, uncles; and many close friends.

A funeral service with Pastor Brown officiating will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Friday, December 28th, 2007, at Aldine Funeral Chapel located at 9504 Airline Drive in Houston, Texas. The family will receive visitors before the service beginning at 4:00 P.M. and after the service until 7:00 P.M.

Brianna will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
