I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one, I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when day is done. I'd like to leave an echo of whispering softly down the ways, Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun, Of happy memories that I leave behind When day is done.

Charlotte Diane Manning, 47, passed away on Friday, November 30th, 2007, in Houston, Texas. She was born on August 3rd, 1960 in Houston, Texas to Jessie Mae Alderman and Albert Eugene Goldsberry, Sr.

Charlotte was preceded in death by both parents and is survived by her daughter Angeline Manning & husband Pedro Sanchez; son Brian Manning & fiancé Felicia; brother Albert Goldsberry, Jr. & wife Maxine; sister Sandra Thompson & husband Otis; sister Janet Findley; 4 grandchildren: Abigail Sanchez-Manning, Charles Manning-Sanchez, Bianca Sanchez, and Luis Sanchez; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews; as well as many other relatives and dear friends.

Visitation was from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, December 7th, 2007 at Aldine Funeral Chapel.

Charlotte will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
