Edward T. Kovach, Jr.,
65, passed away suddenly in Houston, Texas on Thursday, April, 12th, 2007.
He was born on July 16th, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio to Edward T. Kovach, Sr. and Betty Jean Nichols.
Ed served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Conflict and received an Honorable
Discharge for his service on February 7th, 1964.
He met the love of his life one week later on Valentine's Day 1964 and married her one year later on
February 14th, 1965. Ed and his wife owned and operated Hall Supply and Edco Sales Company.
A poker player "extraordinaire", Ed is survived by his wife of 42 years, Deanna K. Kovach;
3 daughters: Beverly Whitmire & husband Ray, Conni Kovach & Corey, and Donni Cagle & husband
Fabian; 8 grandchildren: Fabian, Samantha, Donald, Stefani, Donni, Jerry, Ray, and Heather;
4 sisters: Dianne McConnell, Debbi Walker & David, Brandee Mireles & husband Robert, and Randee
Naņez & husband Israel; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was from 12:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 15th, 2007 at
Aldine Funeral
Chapel.

Military Honors were held in the VA Chapel at 12:00 P.M. on Monday, April 16th, 2007, at the
Houston National Cemetery located at
