Lenora Jeanette Moffett,
79, passed away in Houston, Texas on Monday, July 16th, 2007.
She was born on February 11th, 1928 in Leesville, Louisiana to Georgia Agnes Stewart and
Eddie Elbert Williams.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her son Joe Wade Moffett (9/26/1955-8/19/2005),
daughter Anita Moffett-Ballard (9/25/1961-2/22/2003),
daughter Brenda Sue Moffett-Harbour (7/2/1963-10/30/2006),
grandson Eric Ray Willis (1/31/1978-5/28/1988), and
son-in-law William Franklin Willis, Sr. (4/8/1930-11/26/2005).
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Raymond Mofffett;
3 children:
Donald Moffett & wife Sharon, Bruce Alan Moffett, and Karen Willis;
9 grandchildren:
Alicia Ballard,
Amy Baker & husband Samuel,
Andrew Willis,
Brian Willis,
Katie Ann Moffett,
Melissa Moffett,
Rachel Harbour & husband Joe Smith,
Sarah Jackson,
and Shelby Harbour;
10 great-grandchildren:

Lain Mason Samuel Baker,
Zoie Alyssa Smith,
Angel Jackson,
Billie Bob Jackson,
Robert Ray Moffett,
Brandon K. Watson,
Mason Guillory,
Stormy Tempus Willis,
and Elyssia Rene Michelle Willis;
'honorary sister' Hazel Jones;
and many other relatives & friends.
Visitation was from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Friday, July 20th, 2007 at
Aldine Funeral
Chapel followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend C.L. Hitt officiating.
Committal Rites were held at 2:30 P.M. on Friday, July 20th, 2007,
at the
Houston National Cemetery located at

Jeanette will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
