Surrounded by Continuous Love!

Neil Evert Orsini, 68, passed away on Friday, June 29th, 2007, in Houston, Texas. He was born on August 13th, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan to Nello & Rosa Orsini.

Neil graduated from the University of Detroit High School. He was a gifted carpenter mentored by his father, Nello. For many years Neil took many courses in all phases of construction which led to his own businesses. NEO Excavating and Orsini Building Company were two very respectable businesses throughout Michigan.

Neil, his wife Barbara, and their three children, Tamiko, Tonya and Robert, moved to Spring, Texas in 1981 where he continued in construction. He loved to spend time in the garage -- he called that "home"! He was always creating and building "something" for someone or working on a new invention. Neil went back to Michigan briefly but returned to Houston because he said this was home. This was where his family lived and he knew that he was loved.

Neil was preceded in death by both parents, Nello & Rosa Orsini, and is survived by his lifetime friend Barbara J. Orsini of Tomball, Texas; children, Teresa, Michael, David, and Christopher, all of Madison Heights, Michigan and Tamiko Jackson, Tonya Jones, and Robert Jones, all of Houston, Texas; sons-in-law: Shawn Jackson and Ronald Jones, Jr., both of Houston, Texas; many grandchildren of Michigan as well as Jazzmine, Jailynn, Alyssa, Elysse, Shelbi, all of Houston, Texas; sisters: Catherine Orsini of Hialeah, Florida and Josephine Miller of Madison Heights, Michigan; godson Jose Ramos & wife Vanessa of Houston, Texas; nieces; nephews; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.

A Memorial Service was held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, July 6th, 2007 at Aldine Funeral Chapel located at 9504 Airline Drive, Houston, Texas 77037.

As Neil always said, "Never say 'Good-Bye', just say 'See ya later'." A truly dedicated worker until his death, Neil will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
