Dr. Robert "Bob" Munro Morrison, III,
40, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 1st, 2007, in Needville, Texas.
He was born on November 20th, 1966 in Waukegon, Illinois.
Bob was an All-State Swimmer, winning two State titles while in High School.
He attended Harvard & Indiana Universities before entering the U.S. Army.
Bob was proud to have served as an Army Ranger during both the Panama and
Persian Gulf Wars. After receiving an Honorable Discharge from the military
in November 1991, Bob attended Armstrong State where he received his Bachelor's
Degree in Chemistry. He then graduated from the Medical School of Georgia
in Augusta before becoming a Board Certified Surgeon. Especially proud of his
heritage, Bob loved all things Scottish. But most of all, he loved his two
sons, spending time with them whenever possible.
He is survived by his 2 sons: Ryan Morrison and Max Morrison; parents
Barbara & Jim Jones; father Tom Morrison; brother Ted Morrison & wife Michelle;
sister Jennifer Wright & husband Mark, Sr.; and many other relatives and friends.
Military Honor Funeral Services with V.F.W. District #4 Ceremonial Detail were
held at 12:30 P.M. on Monday, May 7th, 2007, in the VA Chapel at the
Houston National Cemetery located at
10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas, phone 281-447-8686.
