Walter Joseph Boyce, of Houston, Texas passed away on May 20th, 2007 from an unexpected illness. Walter was born March 13th, 1923 in Winterset, Iowa. He served in World War II with the Navy CB's in the Pacific Rim Arena. Walter worked for BF Goodrich Chemical Company for 30 years in Cleveland, Ohio as a Project Manager and constructed chemical plants around the world. He ended his career as President and CEO of Boyce Consultants for 30 years in Houston, Texas. Walter was happiest when he was working.

Walter was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary Caywood Boyce, and survived by daughters Cindy Dorgan Kilroy and Terri Dorgan Anderson; granddaughter Lindsay Paige Anderson; and son-in-law Shane Kilroy, all from Houston; and son Tom Boyce from Cleveland, Ohio.

Memorial Services were held on June 22nd, 2007 at 11:30 at the Houston National Cemetery located at 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas, phone 281-447-8686 with Military Honors rendered by the V.F.W. District #4 Ceremonial Detail. Immediately following the service, family and friends were invited to gather at the home of Shane and Cindy Kilroy at 5810 Wanakah Drive in Houston, Texas for a time of continued fellowship.

Walter will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
