Florencio Arce Espinoza, Jr., 57, passed away on Friday, January 4th, 2008 in Denver, Colorado. He was born on July 15th, 1950 in Houston, Texas to Alice Arce and Florencio Espinoza. Floyd served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Conflict and received an Honorable Discharge for his service on September 30th, 1970. Floyd worked at Precision Siding and Construction in Denver, Colorado and will be greatly missed by all of his friends and co-workers there. He was preceded in death by his father Florencio Espinoza and is survived by 3 children: Jennifer Robin Nelson, Erika Lynn Livers, and Andrew Espinoza; mother Alice A. Gonzalez; 5 brothers & sisters: Pearl A. Mayberry, Patricia A. Espinoza, Daniel A. Espinoza, Alice Gonzalez, and Moses A. Gonzalez; 5 grandchildren: Christian Shay Nelson, Cameron Grant Nelson, Caroline Grace Nelson, Noah Austin Livers, and Sophia Corren Livers; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as many other relatives and friends. Funeral Services with Rev. Armando Jimenez and Rev. Daniel Espinoza officiating were held at 1:30 P.M. on Tuesday, January 15th, 2008, in the VA Chapel at the Houston National Cemetery located at 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas, phone 281-447-8686. Military Honors were rendered by the V.F.W. District #4 Ceremonial Detail. Floyd will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
