Mark Eugene Depta, 50, passed away in Houston, Texas on Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008. He was born on September 19th, 1957 in Sewickley, Pennsylvania. Mark served in the U.S. Army and received an Honorable Discharge in 1976 for his service. He loved his animals and his family and was a good friend and neighbor. Mark was extremely helpful to everyone, loved to garden, was a devoted Steeler fan, and an avid music enthusiast.
Mark was preceded in death by his father Eugene Joseph Depta and is survived by his wife Sharon L. Depta; daughter Silence L. Depta; mother Carol M. Depta; 3 sisters: Kimberly George, Kristin Bonilla, and Sandy Salamone; as well as many other relatives and friends.
Memorial Services were held in the VA Chapel at 1:30 P.M. on Friday, February 1st, 2008, at the Houston National Cemetery located at 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas, phone 281-447-8686.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to a college fund for Mark's daughter by making a deposit into Account #8072383766 in the name of Sharon Depta or Silence Depta at any Wells Fargo Bank Location.
Mark will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
