Robert "Bobby" Lee Clements, 61, passed away on Monday, March 31st, 2008, in Houston, Texas. He was born on March 21st, 1947 in Houston, Texas to Lila Lucretia Burns and Max Haffley Clements.

Bobby attended San Jacinto High School before entering the U.S. Army. He served in Korea during the Vietnam Conflict and received an Honorable Discharge for his service in 1972. An avid ham radio operator, Bobby owned and raised horses, and loved watching football and Nascar racing. Although he was serious-minded, Bobby had a dry sense of humor and you never knew what he would say next. A loyal, kind and considerate man, he was always helping others.

Bobby is survived by his mother Lila "Tince" Clements, brother James "Jimmy" Clements & wife Paula, sister Betty "Jann" Stoma, sister Barbara Marquis, and many other relatives and friends.

Military Honor Services were held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, April 4th, 2008 in the VA Chapel at the Houston National Cemetery located at 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas, phone 281-447-8686. Military Honors were rendered by the V.F.W. District #4 Ceremonial Detail. The casket was open for those desiring to pay their last respects beginning at 10:00 A.M. before the service began.

Bobby was one of a kind and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
