Antwain Whatley, 29, passed away in Houston, Texas on Friday, August 21st, 2009. He was born on January 27th, 1980 in Atlanta, Georgia to Gloria Jean Whatley and Charles Edward Towns. He is survived by his wife Melissa Whatley; father Charles Towns & wife; mother Gloria Whatley; 3 brothers: AJ Whatley, TL Oliver & wife, and Lonnie Reynolds & wife Pei; 3 sisters: Zahare Bellman, Melissa Towns, and Althea Towns & husband; maternal grandmother Mattie Evans; paternal grandmother Mary Mitchell; father-in-law & mother-in-law Grady & Kathy Green; 2 sisters-in-law: Angela Foret & husband Craig and Rachel Simmons & husband Ken; 2 brothers-in-law Dennis Anderson & wife Kim and Louis Brown & wife Carissa; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as many special friends and other relatives.
Visitation was from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 27th, 2009, at Aldine Funeral Chapel, 9504 Airline Drive, Houston, Texas, 77037-2208, phone 281-591-6055. A Funeral Service was held at 11:30 A.M. on Friday, August 28th, 2009, at First Baptist Church-Heights located at 201 East 9th Street, Houston, Texas 77007, phone 713-861-3102. Immediately following the service there was a police procession from First Baptist Church Heights to Woodlawn Garden of Memories Cemetery located at 1101 Antoine Drive at Katy Freeway, in Houston, Texas, phone 713-682-3663 for committal rites and interment.
Antwain will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
