Brandon Craig Davis, 21, was miraculously born into this world on January 29th, 1988 and was called home by the Lord on Thursday morning, August 13th, 2009. He was the passenger in a truck that lost control and struck a pole on Spring Creek Road in Spring, Texas and was the only fatality. A memorial has been placed in his honor and remembrance.
Brandon was born in Houston, Texas to Johnny and Georgina Davis. He excelled in the R.O.T.C. program at Spring High School where he graduated in 2006. Brandon was currently working as a server at Denny's in Spring, but had hopes of joining the military. Brandon was passionate about God and truly believed that "God forgives all sins". When Brandon wasn't asleep, working, or with friends, he could be found 'plugged in' to his video games while jamming his music. He loved his family and friends deeply and anyone could tell you that his mother was Number One in his life. He touched the lives of everyone he encountered – his family and his friends. Brandon will be remembered most for his bright smile, contagious laughter, wonderful sense of humor, and sincere loyalty. There was nothing he wouldn't do for his friends or family.
Brandon leaves behind a host of loving family members and friends including his mother Georgina; sister Brittney Sunday; brother-in-law Jeremy Sunday; niece & nephew Kaylee & Blake; brother Richard Davis & wife Ambra; niece Macie; grandparents; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends. Brandon has now joined his father, his Gramma, and many other dear loved ones in God's glory.
A Remembrance and Celebration was held on Wednesday, August 19th, 2009, at Aldine Funeral Chapel located at 9504 Airline Drive, Houston, Texas 77037, phone 281-591-6055. The viewing began at 1:00 P.M. with a service that followed at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Winston Hancock officiating.
23rd Psalm
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul.
He leadeth me in the path of righteousness for His name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me: Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies.
Thou anointest my head with oil: my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
