Benelene Gardner, 69, passed away in Houston, Texas on March 23rd, 2005. She was born on November 5th, 1933 in Gainesville, Florida. She was preceded in death on May 20th, 1998 by her husband Herbert Gardner; parents Mary Lou & Bennie Young; brother Franklin Young; and her 5 beloved dobermans. She leaves to mourn 4 sisters: Shelba Archerd of Houston, Texas, Mary Holly-Rapstein & husband Kirby or Houston, Texas, Patricia Bowling & husband Aaron of Sciotoville, Ohio, and Jackie Stokes of Floral City, Florida; as well as numerous nieces, great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral Services held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, March 25th, 2005, in the VA Chapel at the Houston National Cemetery followed by interment.
