Edwin "Butch" Wood, Jr.,
55, passed away on Tuesday, September 13th, 2005 in Humble, Texas.
He was born on October 30th, 1949 in Hackensack, New Jersey to Jean & Edwin Wood, Sr.
Butch served in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1971 and received an Honorable Discharge after serving during the Vietnam Conflict.
He loved music and sports and had a great sense of humor that touched everyone he knew.
Butch was preceded in death by both parents and is survived by 3 sisters: Donna Wood of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Janet Bieber
& husband Joe of Humble, Texas, and Nancy S. Wood of Waterbury, Connecticut; nephew Kyle Bieber of Humble, Texas; 2 nieces:
Jordan Bieber of Humble, Texas and Amy Ross of Albuquerque, New Mexico; other relatives and
many, many friends.
Military Honor Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, September 26th, 2005 at
the
Santa Fe National Cemetery located at 501 North Guadalupe Street in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Butch will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
