God's finger touched him and he slipped away from earth's dark shadows to a brighter day;

To a beautiful garden this friend has gone, to a land of perfect rest; though he is gone he still lives on in the garden of memory.

Glenn Clark Smith, II, 66, passed away in Houston, Texas on Saturday, May 14th, 2005. Glenn was born on January 15th, 1939 in York, Pennsylvania to Edith Mae & Glenn Clark Smith, Sr. He graduated from William Penn High School in 1957. Glenn served in the U.S. Marine Corps and retired from the military in 1979. A family man who loved people, Glenn loved to hunt with his kids and even served as a Scout Master. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Jane A. Smith of Manchester, Pennsylvania; children Sharon Whorley of Manchester, Pennsylvania, Jeff Smith of Red Lion, Pennsylvania and Mark Smith of Red Lion, Pennsylvania; grandchildren Justin Smith, Jay Smith, Tyler Smith, Rainor Smith, MacKade (Wyatt) Smith, and Ellee Smith as well as many other relatives & friends. Services with full Military Honors followed by inurnment were held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, June 17th, 2005 at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia. Glenn will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
