Lois’ thoughtfulness, kindness and compassion made her a treasured friend to many. She was a faithful member of Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church for 40 years. Lois was a gifted teacher who especially enjoyed working with pre-K children. She also enjoyed sewing and quilting. Artistic and creative, she made over 100 beautiful quilts.
Lois loved antiquing and was always looking for that special item that would catch her eye at estate and garage sales. She saw the beauty in simple things, always looking for the best in all situations. She was never afraid to speak her mind and her strength supported many of us through trying times. Her nurturing nature and loving kindness lives on in each of us who knew her.
We will cherish her memory and celebrate her zest for life. We celebrate and thank God for the life Lois lived, knowing that her love has truly made this world a better place, and that her spirit is never far from us. Godspeed Lois.
