Leda Mae Murphy, 80, passed away in Humble, Texas on Friday, April 29th, 2005. She was born on October 25th, 1924 in Fort Worth, Texas to Helen Mae & Charles E. Autry. Leda retired from Southwestern Bell after 45 years, having spent the last 18 years working in the Heights office at Ashland & 18th Street in Houston, Texas. She moved to the Houston area in 1942 and lived in Goodrich, Texas for the past 11 years. Leda was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years Patrick O. Murphy and is survived by her daughter Kay Sepulvado & friend Thomas Menard; grandchildren Charles Edward Lake and Woodrow "Woody" Alexander Lake; great-grandchildren Woody Lake, Cameron Lake, Christopher Lake, and Clayton Lake; step-children Mary Kopesky & husband Henry; Simon Sepulvado & companion Sue Ann Boggs, Glen Sepulvado & wife Diane; and Alex Sepulvado & wife Christi; numerous step-grandchildren & step-great-grandchildren; as well as many other relatives & friends. Memorial Services were held at 7 PM on Wednesday, May 4th, 2005, at the family's residence. A loving, kind, and generous woman, Leda will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
