Lucille Lenz Sheffield,
77, passed away on September 7th, 2005 in Houston, Texas.
She was born on December 12th, 1927 in Kurten, Texas to Matilda Augusta Hahn & Rhineholdt Julius Ludwig Lenz.
Lucille was preceded in death by both parents and son Roger Holt Sheffield.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, V.C. "Skip" Sheffield; children: Peggy Johnson &
husband John, Pat Williams & husband Steve, Junior Sheffield & wife Patsy, and J.W.
Sheffield & wife Kerri; 3 brothers; 2 sisters; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren;
numerous nieces & nephews; and many other relatives & friends.
Visitation was at
Aldine Funeral Chapel from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, September 9th, 2005.
Funeral Services with Pastors Paul & Larry Emerson officiating
was held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 10th, 2005, at
North Central Assembly of God located at 13703 Aldine Westfield Road in Houston,
Texas followed by a procession to
Calvary Hill Cemetery for Commital Rites.
Lucille will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
