Ralph Edward Kellum, 52, of Houston, Texas, passed away Monday, September 12th, 2005. Ralph was born August 8th, 1953 in Houston, Texas to the late Hilton and Eugenia Kellum.

Ralph was a machinist by trade. In his lifetime, he had his good times and bad times, but always enjoyed life. In his younger years he was a free spirit and once hitch-hiked all over the United States. He enjoyed all kinds of music, even playing the guitar. Spending time with his grandchildren always made him happy. He liked little things, such as going to the park and having a picnic, going to the movies and out to eat, riding bikes with the grandkids and neighborhood kids, or cooking the greatest pancakes (he thought).

He is preceded in death by his son Donham Fellers and sister Joy Lee Kellum. He is survived by his special best friend Janet Hanna, daughter Rachel Kellum, grandchildren Jacob Kellum, Jared and Allen Fellers, and Taylor and T.J. Hanna. He is also survived by his sisters Julie and husband Ricky Martin, and Carol and husband John Drake, along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. A very special thanks is extended to Steven Juarez for the time he spent with Ralph each day during the last two weeks.

Memorial Services were held on Friday, September 16th, 2005, at 3:00 P.M. at Aldine Funeral Chapel located at 9504 Airline Drive, Houston, Texas with Chaplain John Morris officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests potted plants or that donations to be made to the Red Cross Katrina Disaster Fund by calling toll-free to 1-800-HELP-NOW (1-800-435-7669) or by sending a check or money order to the American Red Cross at P.O.
