Thomas Lee George, Sr.,
60, passed away in Houston, Texas on Tuesday, October 4th, 2005.
He was born on September 26th, 1945 in Houston, Texas to Mary Josephine Hickman & Leon Charles George.
Thomas served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and received an Honorable Discharge in 1967.
He was preceded in death by both parents; son Travis Leon George; and 2 brothers: David & Ernest George.
Thomas is survived by his wife Natalie; 3 sons: Thomas Lee, Jr. & wife Janie, Tracy Lynn and Leon Charles; 2 daughters: Natalie Jean and Regina Kay & husband Bryan; 9 grandchildren: Rachell, Jennifer, Stacie, Crystal, Robin, Ty, Ashley, Thomas Lee III, and Brenden; 1 great- granddaughter: Kaylee; 1 sister: Mary; 1 brother: Charles; several nieces & nephews; cousins; aunts & uncles; as well as many other relatives & friends.
Visitation was from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, October 17th, 2005, at
Aldine Funeral Chapel. Funeral Services were held at 1:30 PM on
Tuesday, October 18th, 2005, in the VA Chapel at
the Houston
National Cemetery with Pastor Mike Heron of Bible Baptist Church officiating.
Military Honors were rendered by the U.S. Navy Military Honor Detail.
Thomas will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
