William Franklin Willis, Sr. 76, passed away at home in Shepherd, Texas on November 26th, 2005. He was born on April 8th, 1929 in Lucasville, Ohio to Ida Mae Wilson and Charles Theodore Willis. Willy served in the U.S. Army and received an Honorable Discharge on December 21st, 1949. He was preceded in death by both parents; son Eric Ray Willis (12/31/1978-5/28/1988); brother Roy Willis; brother- in-law Joe Wade Moffett (9/26/1955-8/19/2005); and sister-in-law Anita Kay Ballard (9/25/1961-2/22/2003). Willy is survived by his wife Karen J. Willis; 2 sons: Andrew Willis and Brian Willis & wife Amiena; grandson Brandon Keith Watson; granddaughter Elyissa Rene Michelle Willis; brother Raymond Willis; sister-in-law Esther Willis; nephew Milam Willis; as well as many other relatives & friends. Visitation was at Aldine Funeral Chapel from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 1st, 2005. Military Honor Memorial Services were held at 1:45 P.M. on Friday, December 2nd, 2005, at the Houston National Cemetery with Mr. Charlie Snyder officiating. Willy will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
