The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only those items you desire. (However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead.) If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.


PROFESSIONAL SERVICES



Services of Funeral Director & Staff - $ 695.00
Our fee for the services of funeral director & staff includes, but is not limited to, staff to respond to initial request for service; arrangement conference with family or responsible party; preparation and filing of necessary authorizations and permits; recording vital statistics; staff assistance prior to and following the funeral, including coordination with those providing other portions of the funeral (e.g. cemetery, crematory & others). Also included in this charge are overhead expenses relative to our facility such as insurance, maintenance and utility expenses, secretarial and administrative costs, equipment and inventory expenses, and normal daily refrigeration charges when necessary. This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charge for direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains.) Please note that there may be charges for handling items such as cemetery fees, flowers and newspaper notices [Article 4582b.0(S)].

Embalming - $ 325.00
Embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement which does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

  • $ 425.00 - Consulate Paperwork - translations, permits, phone calls, overnighting, and/or courier service as necessary

NOTE - Additional manpower and/or merchandise requirement(s) may be incurred at funeral home and/or cemetery for decedents weighing over 250 pounds.


FACILITIES & EQUIPMENT



Private/I.D. Viewing - $ 50.00
Use of facilities and staff services for private identification viewing for immediate family/next-of-friend(s) weekdays for thirty minutes.

Visitation - $ 200.00
Use of facilities and staff services for visitation up to three hours between 11 AM and 8 PM weekdays. This includes setup of visitation area, placement of remains, display of floral arrangements, supervision and attendance during visitation. Additional visitation time is $100.00 per hour.

Visitation with Rite or Ceremony - $ 375.00
Use of facilities and staff services for scheduled rite or ceremony during visitation of up to three hours between 11 AM and 8 PM weekdays. This includes coordination of service, set-up of visitation area, placement of remains, display of floral arrangements, supervision and assistance during visitation, and licensed funeral director supervision during rite or ceremony. Additional visitation time is $100.00 per hour.

Funeral Service - $ 275.00
Use of facilities and staff services for funeral service weekdays. This includes coordinating the funeral arrangements, supervision of funeral, staff to assist at funeral ceremony and following committal (if applicable), and one vehicle for local floral transportation.

Funeral Service in Other Facility - $ 375.00
This charge includes staff services for funeral service in other facility weekdays. This includes coordinating the funeral arrangements, supervision of funeral, staff to assist at ceremony and following committal (if applicable), and one vehicle for local floral transportation.

Graveside Service - $ 200.00
This charge includes accompaniment of remains to cemetery, supervision and direction of the Graveside Service weekdays, staff necessary to attend service, and one (1) vehicle for local floral transportation.

Memorial Service - $ 150.00
Use of facilities and staff services weekdays for Memorial Service (without physical body present) or staff necessary for Memorial Service in other local facility. Our services include coordinating the Memorial Service arrangements, supervision of the Memorial Service, and staff to assist at the service.

Staff and/or Facilities Use on Saturdays - $ 250.00 (additional)

Staff for Services after 4:00 P.M. in Other Facility - $ 225.00 (additional)

Funeral Director - $ 110.00 (per 50 miles, services outside Harris County - additional)


AUTOMOTIVE EQUIPMENT



First Call/Initial Transfer of Remains from Place of Death - $ 275.00 (day or night, weekday or weekend, within Harris County)

Second Call/Additional Transfer of Remains - $ 175.00 (per transfer)

Funeral Hearse - $275.00 (within Harris County - Monday to Friday)

Family Limousine - $ 325.00 (3 hours use within Harris County - Monday to Friday)

Vehicle Use for Saturday/Sunday - $ 100.00 (additional per vehicle/day)

Other Automotive
  • $ 150.00 - Utility Vehicle or Extra Flower Car
  • $ 145.00 - Additional Charge for deaths occurring in Montgomery County
  • $ 195.00 - Additional charge for deaths occurring in Fort Bend, Liberty, Waller, Brazoria, or Galveston Counties
  • $     2.50 - Additional charge per vehicle/mile disposition outside Harris County

ADDITIONAL SERVICES



Direct Cremation - If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The container that we provide is corrugated (brown/white with no lining) and is referred to as a 'Cremation Box'.

Our charge for direct cremation, which is without viewing, attendant rites or ceremonies, includes removal of remains within Harris County, temporary shelter of the remains, local transportation to and from a local crematory, necessary services of staff, preparation/filing of needed authorizations, permits and death certificate. Normal daily refrigeration charges are included in our basic fee.

  • $ 630.00 - With merchandise provided (must meet any State or Crematory requirements) *OR* With merchandise purchased at funeral home (plus cost of merchandise)
  • $ 680.00 - With alternative container included (Cremation Box - max. weight 250 pounds)

NOTES: 1) Additional fee(s)/requirement(s) may be incurred for decedents weighing over 250 pounds or if decedent exceeds container dimensions. 2) Crematory fee(s) are NOT included in the above listed charges. Such fee(s) will be added to the total cost of cremation service selected. 3) Cremains in a utility urn can be forwarded within the continental United States via USPS Registered Mail for $50.00 (fee for local courier or shipping of display urns may be higher).

Immediate Burial - This charges includes removal and shelter of the remains, local transportation to a Harris County cemetery without any attendant rites or ceremonies, and necessary services of staff and authorizations.

  • $ 975.00 - With merchandise provided (must meet State/Cemetery requirements)
  • $ 975.00 - With casket selected from our funeral home (plus casket)
Forwarding of Remains to another Funeral Home - This charge includes removal of remains, necessary services of staff, embalming, required authorizations, and transportation to Bush IAH airport. This charge does not include visitation, rites or ceremonies prior to forwarding of the body.
  • $ 1,095.00 - With minimum shipping container (combo tray)
  • $    895.00 - With casket selected from our funeral home (plus casket)
  • $    150.00 - Air Tray - required by airlines for shipping casket (outside continental US, requirements may vary)
Receiving of Remains from another Funeral Home - $ 570.00 - This charge includes removal from Bush IAH airport, temporary shelter of the remains, transportation of the remains to a Harris County cemetery, and necessary services of staff. This charge does not include visitation, rites or ceremonies.

We can secure as many certified copies of Death Certificates as needed. The Bureau of Vital Statistics charges $21.00 for the first certified copy of the death certificate and $4.00 for each additional copy obtained at the same time. TER requires the purchase of at one certified copy at the time of filing. It is legal to make photocopies, however, you will most likely need certified copies for things like bank accounts, insurance policies and items with certificates of title (ie - property, vehicles, some stocks/bonds). If additional Death Certificates are needed at a later date, a $25.00 fee will be added to orders for Death Certificates obtained subsequent to our initial filing to offset expenses such as tolls and parking fees incurred.
