Ship Out for Burial in Mexico


This type of service includes local transfer of remains to funeral home (day/night, weekday/weekend, within Harris County), non-autopsied embalming preparation, dressing & casketing, cosmetology and/or hair-styling, preparation and filing of the Death Certificate, three (3) certified copies of the Death Certificate, all required documentation and authorizations, preparation and translation of all necessary Consulate documents, filing and procurement of all required Mexican Consulate permits, standard air tray (required by airlines), transportation to Bush IAH airport, and all other necessary services of funeral director and staff. This charge does not include viewing, visitation, rites or ceremonies prior to forwarding of the body.

This charge does not include a casket, airfare, other cash advance items (such as honorariums), or other goods and merchandise that may be desired.

 You MUST make arrangements in Mexico to have the casket picked up from the airport and taken to the cemetery.

  • $640.25 - Airfare from Houston (IAH) to Mexico City (MEX) at $1.97 per pound
  • $539.50 - Airfare from Houston (IAH) to Acapulco (ACA) at $1.66 per pound
  • Continental Airlines also adds a $20.00 Airbill Fee
