Ht. 9" Full Speed Ahead. A powerful locomotive is the central image on this stein. The bellowing smoke indicates its great power as it pulls the train through a tunnel, under a castle and over a river bridge. A golden winged wheel is above the train. Below the engine is a banner with the German text "Mit Volldampf Voraus", translated to mean "Full Speed Ahead". The handle is in the shape of an iron rail. Pewter conical lid. Ht. 11 1/4" Fire Station. Stoneware, raised-relief decoration. This stein honors the fire stations and fire departments that have protected our towns and cities across the country. Three carefully sculpted buildings are the main subjects. A horse-drawn steam fire engine is in front of the main station. A fire truck waits by the station on the right. Two firefighters stand by the building on the left side. The fire station's classic tall narrow architectural shape, with large front drive-in doors, is evident on alll these structures. The bell tower is the pewter lid ornament. A fire hydrand is the handle. The American flag adorns the front of the stein. Hoses and helmets are the border decoration. Gold and platinum-leaf accents provide an attractive finishing touch. Limited edition of 5,000 individually numbered pieces.

Ht. 15 1/2" Jousting Tankard. Stoneware, raised-relief and applied decoration. The dynamic design of 19th-century sculptor Peter Duemler has been reproduces as a majestic masterpiece, forging black glazed stoneware, relief pewter, and gold-leaf accents. A massive pewter band blankets the entire center of the stein body. The main subject is a medieval tournament. Knights on horseback are jousting. Others compete with swords and shields. A gold-plated Crown and Eagle Crest is framed by banners, weapons and four handpainted gold rings. A knight helmet thumblift has a rotating faceguard. A pewter knight on horseback with gold-plated lance is mounted on the pewter lid. Limited edition of only 2,000 pieces. This stein is makde in Germany, the figurine is made by Gallo, USA.

Ht. 10 3/4" Peter Duemler Royalty Stein. Stoneware, raised-relief and applied decoration. A pewter relief band wraps around the entire stein's black glazed stoneware body and features a five-panel mural of King Charlemangne, his guards, and royal subjects. Eight separate cast pewter lions and crowns are then applied to the stein's octagonal base. Four handpainted gold-leaf bands complete the body decoration. On top of the ornate pewter lid is a figure of a knight in full armor. Limited edition of 5,000 pieces.

Ht. 16" The Sleeping Hunters. Stoneware, raised-relief. The hand painting on this stein leaves nothing to be desired. 16 different colors are painstakingly applied to the body and lid on this antique reproduction. The full wrap-around scent depicts four weary hunters who have all fallen asleep. Deer, rabbits and squirrels all then take a good close look at them, while the sun smiles down on the entire scene. A red squirrels is on the stein handle. The stoneware figural lid is of a hunter and his dog. The German poem across the stein bottom is translated to mean "The green meadowland is the hunter's happiness". Limithed edition of only 1,000 pieces.
