Ht. 8" James A. Meger Timber Wolf II Stein. Stoneware, raised-relief and transfer decoration. World renowned wildlife artist James Meger created the original two -panel design featured on this stein. The left side of the stein depicts a huge late autumn harvest moon illuminating the sky, as an alpha wolf howls in the foreground. His breath can be seen against the cold night air. The right side of the stein prtrays the same majestic animal, prowdly and confidently gazing directly at the viewer as stars brilliantly shine in the background. The stein features raised-relief top and bottom bands consisting of pine cones, evergreen branches, oak leaves and acorns. This pattern is repeated on the relief pewter lid. The thumblift is in the shape of an oak leaf.

Ht. 8" James A. Meger Bald Eagle II Stein. Stoneware, raised-relief and transfer decoration. The full-color wraparound motif was specifically created for this stein by award-winning wildlife artist James Meger. On the left side of the stein we see a close-up detailed view of a perched eagle in front of a forest of tall pines. A gliding hunting eagle with wings spread is seen amidst clouds, mountains, and forests on the right side of the stein. Study the scene closely and a third eagle can be seen in the background, as well as tow herds of elk. The stein features raised-relief top and bottom bands consisting of pine cones, evergreen branches, oak leaves, and acorns. This pattern is repeated on the relief pewter lid. The thumblift is in the shape of an oak leaf.

A head portrait on one side of the stein shows a powerful bull elk against a background of snow-capped mountains and clear blue skies. The other panel features an elk family at the edge of a forest, aproproaching a nearby stream. Both panels are framed with an original elk horn design. The stein features raised-relief top and bottom bands, consisting of pine cones, evergreen branches, oak leaves, and acorns. This pattern is repeated on the relief pewter lid. The thumblift is in the shape of an oak leaf.

Ht. 8" James A. Meger Cougar Stein. Stoneware, raised-relief and transfer decorated. This magnificent North American predator has been dramatically presented by famed wildlife artist James A. Meger. A portrait of the proud cat as it gazes over his domain is on one side of the stein, and a spectacular full-body scene of the cougar on the hunt is on the other side. Both subject panels are framed with elk horns. Pine cones, evergreen branches, oak leaves, and acorns form the boarder of the stoneware body and pewter lid. An oak-leaf shaped pewter thumblift provides the final touch.
