Over the years we have learned that approximately one third of the Bible is prophecy! We have also learned that the Bible talks in symbols, signs and analogy! Whole books of the Bible are devoted to prophecy. Many of the prophecies of Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Daniel have not come to pass yet. Many of their writings were not intended for their day--but for the time of the end. These men all gave a voice message for the time of the end. What is meant by the term "time of the end?" Or the term, " in the last days?" Daniel was told, "But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased" (Dan. 12:4).

Amos said, "Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets" (Amos 3:7). If you have been watching world events, you know we are now at the time of the end. We cannot close our eyes to the prophecies that are happening today. God is showing His people what signs to watch for at the time of the end!

In Daniel’s dream and vision of chapter 7, he saw four beasts rise from the sea. They were each different from one another. "These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth" (Dan. 7:17). The beasts of Daniel 7:3, "And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another," could not be the same beasts of Daniel 2. The key to understanding the four beasts of Daniel 7 verse 3 and Revelation 13 is knowing that these kings or nations are not the same as in Daniel chapter 2!! Daniel would have known if these kings were the same! " I Daniel was grieved in my spirit in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head troubled me. I came near unto one of them that stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me, and made me know the interpretation of the things" (Dan. 7:15-16).

Who are the four beasts of Daniel Chapter 7? Over the years, man has always said these four beasts were the same as in Daniel 2. But let’s look at where we are, today, in prophecy. We see the four beasts rising out of the sea. Sea in symbol means masses of people. We can see the masses of people controlled by China, Russia and the Muslim nations under Iran’s control, rising to power through co-operation with one another. "Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea. And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another" (Dan. 7:2-3). " And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?" (Rev. 13:1-4). This is the same fourth beast of Daniel 7:7, "After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns."

China, the hidden giant, is now emerging as a super power! China is now the leading lender to the United States by buying our bonds and that is helping to keep the U.S. economy going. The United States is selling their technology to China at an ever faster rate. President Clinton gave China most favored nation status again, which means they have a 2 % tariff on their exports into the United States, while the U.S. pays 35% tariffs for our exports to China!! Most Chinese can not afford to buy U.S. products! China has the largest military in all the earth. They must have more goods and food each year just to keep this machine going. The government of the United States is trying to lease the former Navy Base in Long Beach, California to COSCO (China Ocean Shipping Company) for container storage. COSCO has been caught by the U.S. Customs agents smuggling guns into the Los Angeles area. This company is controlled by the Chinese government!

China threatened to send nuclear bombs on Los Angeles (in early 1996) if the U. S. were to help Taiwan when China was having military maneuvers in the Straits of Taiwan. Every day in the newspapers, news magazines, T.V. news and on the Internet you can read about the rise of economic and military power of China. Both China and Russia are shipping nuclear, chemical, biological technology and weapons to Iran.

"Chinese Premier Le Peng returned from his late December visit to Moscow proclaiming a new Sin-Russian "strategic partnership" that will "adjust the balance of world power" and thus "offset the influence of the United States." "Both China and Russia object to what Mr. Le describes as a "world dominated by one power." "Mr. Yeltsin willingly echoed old Chinese themes, railing jointly with Chinese President Jiang Zemin against "hegemonism, power politics, and repeated impositions of pressures on other countries--against U.S. "domination," in other words" (Washington Times National Weekly Edition, March 30, 1997, page 34).

"Russia and China moved closer together April 24, following up on their joint declaration the previous day against U.S. world domination, with a sweeping troop-limitation pact that seems likely to boost Beijing’s power in Central Asia. The agreement also signed by three former Soviet republics, "transforms Russia into a Chinese satellite. Russia has become the junior partner in the relationship," says Zbigniew Brezinski, who was national security advisor to President Carter. "If I was a Russian, I would now be wondering how soon Russia will lose the Far East." In Moscow, President Boris Yeltsin told his fellow signatories: "This day will go down in history." On April 23, Mr. Yeltsin and Mr. Jiang signed a joint declaration that condemned the eastward expansion of NATO and called for a "multipolar world" in which no single superpower would dominate." (Washington Times National Weekly Edition, May 4, 1997).

According to the Washington Times National Weekly Edition, Vol. 4, No. 21, the front page article titled "Russian nukes put in "combat mode. " "Recent malfunctions of equipment controlling Russia’s vast nuclear arsenal have spontaneously switched nuclear missiles to "combat mode" on several occasions, increasing the risk of unauthorized attack on the United States, The Washington Times has learned" (May 25, 1997). Also in the same front page we read, "Russian laser burns U.S. Officer." A Russian cargo ship spying on a U.S. nuclear submarine in waters off Washington state last month fired a laser beam at a Canadian helicopter, injuring its pilot and a U. S. Navy officer, and prompting a W.D. diplomatic probe. The incident occurred April 4 near Seattle."

Yet, on "May 28, 1997 Russian President Boris Yeltsin took NATO leaders by surprise when he used the signing of a peace accord to pledge his country’s missiles would no longer target western countries." On the Sunday morning news of June 1, 1997, one commentator made the statement: "With the signing of Russia and the NATO pact, Yeltsin was turning nukes to plowshares!"

But, what does God say about these peace agreements? "And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it" (Isa. 28:18). Just as Judah was told they made a covenant with death and hell, so has the United States and Britain and all the Western nations, when they make agreements with countries who say one thing, yet they really lie! Yeltsin did not say he would disarm the nuclear missiles! He said he would re-target the nuclear missiles!

Are we seeing Ezekiel 38 :7 happening before our eyes? "Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them. After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them" (Eze. 38:7-8).

According to the Washington Times, Russia is quoted; "Russia won’t rule out first-strike use of nukes" (May 25, 1997 Edition). Then on May 28, 1997, Boris Yeltsin stated he would not strike at any NATO signers? Can Russia be trusted? "Russia’s arms-development program for the years 1997 to 2005 should give Russia "weapons that have no equivalent in the world," then-Deputy Defense Minister Andrei Kokoshin boasted to the Duma, the Russian parliament, in May of last year." (Washington Times National Weekly Edition May 25, 1997).

On this same news cast the reporters were asked by the Host, what was the most important news that week to the American people? The response was sex! What Bill Clinton and Paula Jones were doing? Kathy Lee and Frank Gifford were fighting about his mistress! The American people are asleep! They are not following the important news that will involve their whole way of life. Time is short, but America will not listen and does not care. They have left God and are not aware that we are being taken over from within!!

Iran had a change of leadership. "Mohammed Khatami elected by Iranians fed up with political and social restriction, will have his biggest challenge managing the regime. The President’s power is subject to limits. Many Iranians fear that the system may ultimately paralyze Khatami. "One supporter called him "Khatami is Ayatullah Gorbachev." Iran, which has one of the world’s highest birth rates, means two-thirds of Iranians are under 25. (Time Magazine June 2, 1997). Iran’s young people are ready to burst. They love him and want a leader who will build the country! But, "Russia’s strategy for the Islamic states and the U.S. is revealed in a new nations security concept being developed. An important part of it will attempt to divert Islamic aggression away from Russia toward the United States and Israel. The Middle East is viewed by the Kremlin as a single geopolitical region. Iran represents the most important country in the region, because this is where the use of Islamism to seize power first succeeded. Moscow is helping Tehran to improve uranium extraction and training its nuclear power specialists. A consortium of Russian petroleum companies is waiting for U.N. sanctions to be lifted in order to develop the Middle East’s largest oil fields, located in Southern Iraq at Rumaylah and Qurna."

Syria has chemical weapons, according to the London Times. "Israeli defense minister last November accused Russian scientists of helping to build VX nerve gas weapons on the outskirts of Damascus. Russia has been selling weapons through-out the Middle East. A defense research institute near Moscow recommended that Russia sell nuclear and missile technology to Iran and Iraq if NATO expands eastward. Also envisaged by this study is a possible military alliance with Iran, to be followed by deployment of Russian troops and tactical nuclear weapons along the Persian Gulf and Strait of Hormuz. Defense minister Igor Rodionov at the end of December 1996, suggested establishment of a new military alliance, not restricted to former Soviet allies. Moscow radio already earlier had quoted Iranian Foreign Minister as stating in Tehran that "Iran and Russia can be strategic partners." (Washington Times National Weekly Edition, March 16, 1997).

In the May 18, 1997 Washington Times article titled "Global ism 101," "Germany recalls ambassador from Iran. The Clinton administration praised the ruling and urged Germany and the European Union to impose economic sanctions on Iran. However unlikely as it may be, if Germany were to impose economic sanctions, it would be felt in Teheran. The Germans export $1.3 billion in goods to Iran each year and import about $650 million in return."

Iran is the leading ist nation, teaching and training ist for all the Middle East countries. Iran, Iraq, Syria, and the PLO are all ist nations. Mr. Arafat has given a green light to ism, yet the Clinton administration never takes action against him and his government. Mr. Arafat and the PLO receives $100 million every year from the United States.

What does God say about these nations who form the first three beasts of Daniel 7? "And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him, And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords: Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet: Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee. Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them" (Eze. 38:1-7).

"Damascus, Baghdad, Tehran denounce U.S.-Led Military Exercise." "Iran, Iraq, and Syria reacted angrily to reports that American, Israeli and Turkish military forces will conduct military maneuvers in the eastern Mediterranean." "Egyptian Foreign Minister Mohammed Saeed criticized the plan as a ‘provocative action.’" (Near East Report, May 19, 1997, page 50).

The Jerusalem Post International Edition June 14, 1997 stated, "In the past year, both Egypt and Syria have held large-scale military exercises, and the Palestinians now possess a sizable military force to interfere with the deployment of the Israeli army during a war." Further in the article it states, "Yes, the Soviet Union may be gone, but now Russia is selling billions of dollars in tanks, planes and missiles to Iran and the Arab states. Perhaps Israel's strength, the alliance with the US, the growing acceptance of reality by the Arabs and the collapse of the Soviet Union may yet create "a new world order." "Who knows, one day it may even produce a New Middle East" (Page 13).

Another worry is that "Britain would be marginalised if it did not join asingle European currency. Yves-Thibault deSilguy, the commissioner responsible for the monetary union, said that the G-7 group of industrial nations, which includes Britain, could be replaced by a "G-3" of the UnitedStates, Japan and the European Union after monetary union" (The Wednesday April 30, 1997, Independent states).

The London Independent, May 3, 1997 states, "Europe has been waiting patiently for Tony Blair. But now that the new Prime Minister is in office, he will find that the European clock is ticking to a breathtakingly fast timetable. The country is about to discover there is no longer any time to "wait and see" on membership of the single currency. Under the terms of the Maastricht treaty, Britain must "notify" its European partners on whether it wants to be a member of the first wave of single- currency countries by the end of the year 1997."

"The Western European Union should be revamped so it can undertake certain military operations on its own, Germany and the other nine members of the association now agree. The WEC ought to be able to act outside the framework of NATO in carrying out crisis operations." Wall Street Journal, Thursday, April 24, 1997, said in their headlines, "Coin Toss--Pan-European currency divides British Firms." To proponents, it is the best thing that could happen to Europe---To critics, it is perhaps the worst! Few issues have stirred more heated debate than the move to adopt a common currency in Europe, eventually getting rid of francs and marks, krona and pesetas, lira and guilders, and replacing them with simply, the euro! Rarely a day passes without front-page headlines blaring the latest news about the progress and problems of a common currency, which is to be introduced Jan. 1, 1999!" European Union’s executives forecast that Italy will fail to meet a key criterion for monetary union. Germany is having it’s problems as they are considering re-valuing their currency to meet the standard. France is also having their problems. Each must be able to commit their country to a common currency by the end of 1997.

This Week in Germany--May 30, 1997 edition says, "Entirely without regard for the international consequences, Theo Waigel is pushing the Bundesbank to revalue its gold reserves upwards so that the federal treasury can profit from the resulting profits!" And another quote from the same publication, page 3, "The Bundesbank dared to give a warning in opposition. It fulfilled its mission and did great service to the euro project...." London Independent News, May 29, 1997 headline news was, "Bundesbank "nuclear blast" sets back single currency." "A huge public row broke out yesterday between the Bundesbank and the German government when the central bank rejected the government’s plan to revalue its gold reserves and take some of the profit. In his determination to see the single currency launched, Chancellor Helmut Kohl is now in a head to head confrontation with one of Germany’s most trusted institutions." "The revaluation plans were devised as a means of allowing Germany to meet the criteria for economic and monetary union, but the bank’s action threatens to throw the Emu project into disarray!" London Independent May 30, 1997, "Europe reels as Kohl goes for German gold. " Germany’s bitter division over how to prepare for the single currency reverberated throughout Europe yesterday as the European Commission attempted to keep monetary union on its Maastricht tracks."

The London Independent also reported on page 12, "Clinton endorses EU eastward extension." Invoking the spirit of the Marshall Plan, the massive United States aid programme for the post-war Europe, Bill Clinton yesterday called for a new drive to secure a united Europe with swift enlargement to the east. Mr. Clinton also used the occasion to endorse the European Union’s latest moves towards deeper integration, saying that integration was "good for Europe, for the US and therefore good for the world."

Time magazine June 9, 1997, page 38-39, ‘Unity and Division’, Chancellor Helmut Kohl -- "For the engineer of the European express, it’s full speed toward political integration -- President Jacques Chirac -- Gambling on an early election, the French conservative may have miscalculated." The article further states, "Europeans today do not think or talk about creating a U.S. of Europe, a federal superstate, but they are getting ready to take control of monetary policy and interest rates away from their sovereign nations and turn it over to a European Central Bank, starting 19 months from now."

"Will Mary-loving Pope John Paul II cap his career by declaring a new dogma? A recent anthology from a small Roman Catholic publisher in Santa Barbara, Calif., predicts that as early as next year, John Paul II will exercise his power of infallibility to declare Mary the Co-Redemptrix of humanity and "Mediatrix" of all graces. That would make her a participant in salvation-along with her son Jesus Christ. There has long been talk of such a move, since devotion to Catholicism’s Queen of Heaven is never far from the heart of this Pontiff. Last year the Vatican quietly asked a special international panel of theologians for advice. The Vatican daily newspaper disclosed last week that the advice was unanimous--leave things be. Among the reasons: Popes have shunned Co- Redemptrix talk for a half-century; the bishops of the Second Vatican Council (1962-65) decided not to give Mary any new titles; and such a dogma could raise "ecumenical difficulties." Translation: Protestants and the Orthodox would go into orbit, feeling Christ has been demeaned as the unique Saviour.--by Richard N. Ostling."

Just today our London correspondent called and reported the German News comments from the European Union Summit in Amsterdam, Netherlands: "The European Union is looking for a high profile figure to take control of the Foreign affairs." Also Helmut Kohl and French leaders are calling for a stronger European Army. Tony Blair, England’s new Prime Minister, is against this army. He says, "NATO is enough!!"

There is so much more news that we cannot put it all in this issue. We have been trying to warn God’s called, chosen and faithful! We must be constantly on guard, putting on the whole armour of God. "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;" (Eph. 6:12-18).

America has more foreign troops on it’s soil then we do of our own military. It is a known fact that Germany has Air Force bases in New Mexico and Texas. Foreign troops are training at Camp Erwin in the desert of Southern California. A former Russian leader, Mikhail Gorbachev, has the Military installation at the Presidio in San Francisco as his base for a Peace Foundation. China is now in the process of taking control of the leading military base at Long Beach California. This also was the top shipyard, the most productive and cost effective, paying its own way. Yet the government of America is shutting down our defense system, bit by bit!!

The Washington Times National Weekly Edition June 15, 1997, Commentary. "Can today’s U.S. army win wars?" At the opening of the Gulf War, in 1991, we had 18 divisions. Today, we have 10. Yet in 1994 alone Army units were deployed in reaction to events in Rwanda, Bosnia, Somalia, Cuba, Saudi Arabia, Northern Iraq, Korea, Haiti, and even California to fight forest fires."
